During her time at the hospital she developed a strong background in medicine, illness, and injury as it relates to rehabilitation. Desiring experience in upper extremity rehabilitation and sports medicine, she obtained a position in a privately owned outpatient Hand Therapy Facility in West Hempstead. Her goal was to gain a strong background in general Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation, while honoring her skills as a hand therapist. Her dedication to the field lead her to be the owner of Long Island Hand Therapy in Garden City.
